A globe of the Saturnian moon Mimas with 3d surface relief detail.
A moon of Saturn with a diameter of 396 kilometers. Composed mostly of ice with trace amounts of rock, it is the smallest astronomical body in the solar system known to have been rounded by its own gravity. (Although, even so, it is still noticeably egg shaped)
Mimas most noticeable feature is its giant impact crater named Herscel that almost shattered the little moon. The shockwaves that created the 130km wide crate having travelled through the moon's body and cracked the surface even opposite it.
